Meeting prenatally provides the opportunity to ask questions, learn about correct techniques and positions, and ways to make sure milk supply is supported from the start. All family members are welcome to join!
These visits take place in the hospital and can be within hours of delivery. A feeding session will be observed, suggestions offered, and questions answered as needed. The consult will include what to expect in the coming days and techniques to make sure your milk supply is supported from the start.
No need to leave the house! These visits take place in home (or virtually if desired) so you and your baby/babies don't need to go anywhere. We will discuss specific concerns that have come up, feeding goals, and develop a plan to address both.
With combined personal and clinical experience, I specialize in breastfeeding multiples, feeding a special needs or medically fragile baby, and pumping to maintain supply during a medical condition and/or a NICU stay. I also have additional training to assess tongue tie and offer frenotomy support, and I am passionate about perinatal mental health.
Whether returning to work or school, introducing solids, introducing bottles, or adding supplementation, transitioning looks different for everyone. Let's put together a plan to address concerns and work toward meeting feeding goals.
